Today was my last appointment at the hospital for my picc line check ups because it’s coming out! I was a little concerned if it would hurt and how long it would take. I sat in the chair and the nurse took my vitals and said to take a deep breath, then breathe out. As I breathed out, she removed the 30 cm of my picc line. It was done in less than ten seconds and I didn’t feel a thing.
She put a bandage on and said I can take it off tomorrow. She even wrote the date and time just in case I forgot. I guess some people forget to take off their bandages. Not me, 3:15 tomorrow afternoon it’s coming off and I’m taking a real shower!
